God is…

God is bigger than the mistakes we make, the trials we face, and grudges that we hold. God is bigger than we can think or imagine and so is His love. In tumultuous times we need to hold on to Him with every fiber of our being. He is a God who calmed the storms and raging seas, the God who went looking for His lost sheep. There is so much more to Him than we can encompass. Yet, we forget to cast our burdens on Him.

Peter did, Mary did, Daniel did…then why can’t we? When Peter cast his net onto the other side, He had faith that God was bigger than his troubles, his sorrow, his trials, Peter knew that simply by believing in our God there would be a miracle. “And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes” (John 21:6).

So when we are faced with trials and doubts, with uncertainties, and hopelessness, why not cast your nets to the other side? The side of our God!
